My biggest fear has always been that of the unknown. I like to be well-informed before I make a decision. I used to be afraid to try new things, especially if this meant I had to do them on my own. I realized that I was missing out on life. Everything was moving around me while I stood still.
And then I came across this quote from Leonardo Da Vinci: "It had long since come to my attention that people of accomplishment rarely sat back and let things happen to them. They went out and happened to things."
Now, I'm not afraid to take risks or to put myself out there. I took a pledge to say yes way more than I say no. I challenge you to do the same. My life has been much fuller, and I have had much more fun. Wouldn’t it be a shame to spend time wondering what could have been when you could spend that time enjoying your life?
