Unplug to Connect

"Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes. Including you."  Anne Lamott

So much of everything we do is dependent on being able to connect to the internet. We get so wrapped up in internet connection that we forget to connect with ourselves and the people right in front of us.

Let us not allow technology to rule over us and strip us of our ability to interact with other people in person. So, for an hour a day, unplug and connect with yourself and the people you care about.

Here are a few things you can do that don't require an internet connection.

  1. Play a board game with your family or friends.
  2. Cook a meal from scratch.
  3. Organize your home space.
  4. Go on a walk.
  5. Write in your journal.
  6. Read a book.
